Getting to Gilgit we have a spectaular flight past Nanga Parbat – the killer mountain.

After breakfast we take in the sights of the provincial capital including a giant Buddha carved into a cliff face, bazaar and suspension bridges. After lunch we pass Rakaposhi Mountain as we travel to Hunza. Here where we explore the bazaar and two forts and experience local cuisine. Hunza valley is surrounded by 11 snow capped peaks above 7000m.
