Biafo Hispar Pass and Snow Lake Trek

This trip starts with a jeep drive through the Shigar Valley up to the last settlement of the Karakorum, Askoli. The trek starts from Askoli village, following some stages of the Baltoro trek to the Biafo Glacier. A challenging trek which to the meeting place of the longest mountain glaciers in Asia.
This trek climaxes at iHispar Pass 5150M above the junction of the Biafo and Hispar Glaciers. From here there are incredible view of peaks and glacial valleys.
This trek requires good physical fitness and good weather conditions. While descending to the Hispar Gacier the trek follows beautiful pasturelands . This trek allows for walking and camping on glaciers, crossing a mountain pass and meeting with locals in their summer pastures in both Baltistan and Nagyar areas. You’ll notice a difference in the people and cultures even though they are living just a pass away from each other.
